This is supposed to be a rotting and save $$$ station but my 3d2n here is soo busy busy n busy!! Full of activities everyday n one reali cant imagine how fruitful my trip here was!!
Its my 4th time here in Dubai but I had the most wonderful time during the past few days and it all came unexpected.
My original plan was jus to meet my EK gf, Olivia here and I tot perhaps we may jus be chilling out at her place, have drinks at nite n go shopping/lunch the next day.
Neither did we expect tat her SG fren working here to have a BBQ session cos his friend is celebrating bday. So, off we went, to get alot of hotdogs n crabsticks on my 2nd day here n went to Al Mamzar park for a BBQ with all the rest of the Singaporeans working here in Dubai!
Its certainly heartwarming to c a group of ppl speaking ur own language in a foreign land!
A lil summary of my past few days activities. Shall elaborate more with photos when Im in Istanbul.
1st day - Dinner @ Meat & Co at Medinat overseeing the 7 star hotel, Burj Al Arab
Clubbing @ Zinc, a club which Emirates crew likes to hangout but it turn out a serious culture shock for me.
2nd day - Shopping @ Spinnex Supermarket for BBQ stuff before adourning to Al Mamzar Park for BBQ
Clubbing @ Lodge, with an outdoor club that plays house music n the indoor club tat plays rNb music. Totally atas n nice place..!
3rd day - Buying nuts at the infamous Chocs & Nuts followed by dinner @ shopping mall near Ikea
Global village tat is a huge 'pasar malam' tat houses different countries specialities.
I was in shock when I realise I stil got 3 more sectors to operate!
I m totally deprived of a long gd slp.
Tats wad im going to do in Istanbul.
