Such a long time since i've blog.

Met up with Benedict and gang on thurs nite for a wine session at Wine Connection. It was a nice catch up indeed and we're planning a trip to Ho Chi Minh probably or dunno where in Dec so praying tat I will have 3 long off days on a wkend in Dec now.

Later on adjourn to DF to meet up with Prof and gang. The couple has started complaining tat I've not partied with them for so long due to time clashes. Missed both their bdays as I was outstation and Lily actually keep 'reserving' me to attend her bday next yr which is Sep and tats still a long time to go lor.. Pengzz -___-'''

Nevertheless, met a guy seated next table. So happen he's in the same job and me and lagi small world tat he's actually on my flt to Korea next mth!! Wad a small small world indeed!!

Previously, just gotta knw Benedict's fren who is also a crew and so happen tat the following wk, we are on the same flt oso!! OMG~ Wad a small world afterall!!!

Last night was Halloween Party and initially plan to go with my batchmates from UOB than with Mr FK and frens but due to unforseen circumstances as its a pretty last min suggestion, we were not able to get any costumes therefore, it was called off.

Therefore, met up with Mrs Lee instead to go DF cos its been such a long time since we met up!! But, DF was surprisingly packed on a Saturday night!! Partied till closing and I got tipsy in the end while Mrs Lee was pretty drunk.

Planning for a bday party on 21 or 23 nov cos I'm flying on my bday. =(

Anyway, did a Dubai-Istanbul 8 days flight previously. Shall let the pics do the talking. =)

The room I stayed in for 2 nights in Dubai. Traders Hotel!!

Read about the Gold Souk in Dubai from the magazines in the hotel and decided to visit it but sad to say, I'm so disappointed by it cos its simply a waste time place!! -.-

Found this sight quite interesting of the saris sold along the streets. They look all the same to me thou and i jus wonder how do Arabic woman choose from it?? hmmm...

On the supposedly i thought was a normal taxi which is actually a limousine!!! -_____-''' I need to whine about this cos i'm simply pissed and upset by wad happened!!

Alright, here it goes. I was on my way out so I asked for a taxi from the hotel bellboy and he gotten me a limousine instead without me realising it! He said that the trip to Gold Souk will cost 25 dirhams and since its abt the same amt which I enquired from the conceirge so I agree to it.

On the cab, I asked him about Dubai Museum so he suggested tat he can take me there after Gold Souk den back to the hotel for 70 Dirhams. I bargained and so we agreed on 65 dirhams and i clearly state tat I will only pay 65 dirhams.

Who knows when we got back to the hotel, I handed him a 100 dirhams note but he refused and say tat we went out for 2 1/2 hours and its 65 Dirhams PER HOUR!!!! OMG!! I totally freak out!!

Simply ridiculous to pay so much jus for a taxi ride in Dubai!!

I had an argument with him and the hotel manager step in to cool us down cos we were simply shouting right there at the hotel lobby!! lOlx

As the desert tour driver is here to pick me for the desert tour, I went ahead with it.

I've finally step into a desert!! I'm able to strike the desert off my 'To-Go' list. keke =p

The sunset is jus so beautiful!!

Had a hellish roller coaster ride in the desert!!

First time seeing camels in my life!! And hungry ones!! LOL!

I rode on a camel too!!! Quite fun thou they are abit smelly.

They fry these flour ball coated with some caramel coating and its so delicious!! I swear i had at least 10 of it! keke =p

They had shi sha too and i took the apple flavour!! its one of the best I've ever had!! Very smooth!!

I tried the henna tatoo too!! But it has already fade off liao..

My first dinner in the desert!! I'm so in love with the skewers of all the different meat and I'm starting to miss it now!! so yummy!! =)

Over at Istanbul which I feel is a place filled with good looking people!! They have the features of ang mohs but they are muslims!! Imagine every guy on the street u see has got deep set double eyelids eyes with sharp nose. OmG!

Almost the whole set of crew went out together with the captain and First Officer.

The turkish meal i had. I had major difficulty ordering my food cos everything is in turkish and they dun speak English!! Thus, I can only point at pictures and hoping it taste nice. Sad to say, only the square mushroom cheese pie and the round cake dessert is nice. The drink is some yogurt drink and it sucks BIG TIME!! -.-

We had the turkish ice-cream!! The type who will make fun of u and 'drop' ur ice cream jus when u wana get it!! But, it doesnt taste exactly like ice cream thou. Not very nice.

Pretty pretty lamps I saw which I was so tempted to buy but it cost 40 Lirahs for 1!! I love this purple one especially!! Nice!!~

I chance upon this when I was buying the Turkish Delights. Turkish Viagra!! Any1 needs it??? keke =p

The next day, went out with Michelle to the famous Blue Mosque and saw this!!

This man is selling the malt candies but in different fruit flavous all mix into 1. I bought 1 to try and it really taste pretty good!! Yummy!!

Tat sums up my 8 days DXB-IST flt. Did a Shanghai flt as well and met up with my batchgirl Vivi!! It's always a great feeling to c a familiar face when overseas!!

Such a warm feeling to have a fren outstation with u!!

Shall post up Shanghai pics again.

Off to Brisbane tomorrow. Need to start packing my cabin bag now. Cant bring my LAG along.
