Back from Brisbane!!

I get an Aussie flt every mth which i simply do not know why. Just did a Perth last mth, Brisbane this mth and Melbourne next mth!! OMG~

Let's hope i do a Sydney in Dec or Jan before akeve comes back during CNY.

(If i kena Sydney when she's back in SG, i will sure go MAD!!! We cant be so not fated rite? =[ )

Anyway, not tat i hate Australia but its not my top choice for flts mainly due to a few reasons.

1st, the shops in Australia close very early and im saying at 5-6pm.

2nd, the GMT in Australia is about +9 or +10 which means their time is faster than ours and usually we will be so hungry by the time we touch down.

3rd, we cant bring any food items into Australia and tat means we have to go out in search for food n starve ourselves with anything edible at night!

4th, we are not exempted from LAG restrictions which means i have to bring cargo bag or check in my mamasan bag and tats so troublesome to bring an empty cargo with only a pouch of my toiletries!!!

If not for these, i love Australia. A pretty much friendly, beautiful, safe and peaceful country.

Stayed in Hilton Brisbane and its just located right there in Queen St, the town area of Brisbane!! Woke up at 1pm (brisbane time) and head out for a walk which turns out to be a shopping spreeeee!!

(If only i did not go out den i will not see and than buy.)

Found a shop tat sells 'Nothing more than $10' so i scout around the whole shop and went for with 1 jacket, 2 long sleeves cotton tee and 1 top for AUD $35.

Their shades are selling at AUD 5 each!! But i din buy cos i'm happy with my pair of shades now. =)

Walk down the street and i ended up spotting Supre, an Australian brand. The clothes aint exactly cheap cos it starts from AUD 18 for a normal cotton spag top but I took a few pieces to try and final decision on 2 dresses. 1 flowerly tube dress for AUD 35 (my most expensive buy but its reali PRETTYYYYYY) and another white dress for AUD 25.

Had my lunch at this food court here. Every stall sells food tat looks like restaurant style!! Almost everything is in take away style but fyi, things here aint cheap. Afterall, nothing much in Australia is cheap.

Wanted to head back hotel but there's a strong force pulling me to continue walking down the street (okie, tats an excuseee) so i ended up with more buys but at AUD 10 each!!

This street results me with another 2 tops, 1 black and 1 pink, 1 white halter top and a black long skirt which im gonna wear it as a tube dress!! keke =p

This stretch of st has got lotsa shops tat sells Topshop-alike clothes and its realli pretttyyyyy!!

The entire view of the shopping area which i find it so cool. lOlx

Total damage was like AUD 145 which after converting to SGD n plus my food, i spend about $200 odd AGAIN!!

Queen Street is where I stayed in with all the very nice shops. First time buying so many clothes in Australia thou. Next time mus go sight see instead liaoz.

Almost every station i spend $200 and its very damaging to myself but wad to do, as wad every1 says, its impossible to save during the first 2 yrs of flying.

But i seems to feel tat im always in deficit of clothes to wear. Many times, i sit in front of my bursting wardrobe, thinking and ramaging what to wear cos i simply feel tat i've got nothing to wear!!

But, every country im buying different style of clothes n stuff. lOlxx

Gonna be in Korea this Sunday and im gonna stock up on Korea cosmetics cos as compared to the internation brands, its way cheaper.

So many things to buy!!!

Cleanser, eye make-up remover, nail polish remover, body lotion, hair dye, red lip stick, blue eye shadow, lip gloss...

ARGH!!!!

Y do i always seems to have endlesssss things to buy?? =(

Btw, I went drinking with fellow stewards and the FO. Here's George whom i worked with on both sectors. Din take pic with the rest thou.

Anyway, new roster is out and as i mention, im doing another aussie stn which is Melbourne followed by HKG-SFO. Wooh~

Looking forward to this flt. So wanna go to the wax museum at the peak. Not forgetting party at Lan Kwai Fong and bio-ing all the cute hongkie guysssss in suits!! OMG.. tats my fave outfit for guys...!! *blush*

Hopefully Mike is there and not out on biz trip again so tat he can bring me to my long awaited famous Shatin pigeon!! hehehe =p Been dying to try tat for so long but dunno where is it!!

And there's SFO!! Gonna check out Abercombie and i forsee myself buying a tee from there since almost every other person is wearing it!! Plus American Eagle as well!!
