London~

I'm back from London and I must say tat it was a gd trip especially when u have a fren in foreign land to meet up with. The feeling is undescribable!!

However, everything about London is expensive. Some of the price tags that u c are expensive enough but u still gotta multiply by 3 and that certainly makes it worse!!

Eg. 4 pounds for nasi lemak, 7 pounds for fish n chips, 5 pounds for a one day train pass, 2.20 pounds start up taxi fare.

That's how expensive things are in London!!

Nevertheless, i still manage to cover quite a few places n did a couple of things in the London way with Janet meimei... =)

Here's the underground or the tube station of London Bridge aka our friendly MRT station.

Londoners enjoys lying on the grass and have little picnics or simply jus chat with frens but this guy is sleeping!!

They have got so many of such cute little buses selling ice creams, hot dogs etc. Too cute to resist!!

We saw the Big Ben as well and it is just opposite the London Eye.

Here's the London Eye which I've been hearing so much abt it. Finally, I've seen it and it's just an expensive ferris wheel which of cos, i did not take. Too expensive!!

Here's the insight of the tube which is old n hot cos there's no air-con at all!! Gosh.. Can u imagine the strong wind outdoor than hot n humid when go into the tube??? Cold than hot, hot than cold and this explains the clear reason for me to fall sick. =(

The very expensive fish & chips plus beer. You can find fish & chips almost everywhere in London cos they love this dish and goes with beer. But, beer in London is relatively reasonable cos the price is abt the same as in sg.

I saw this Barclays ATM machine and the words 'Hole in the wall' immediately caught my attention.

The red telephone booth that is everywhere in London and somehow seems to become a landmark in London.

We went to the Chelsea Football club and took a stadium tour which cost us 9 pounds for the student price tix. keke =p Adult tix cost 15 pounds!! pengzz Anyway, this is the press room which the football players hold their interviews with the press.

The insight of the football field. Its indeed a valuable experience. I will probably catch a match next time if time permits and so happen to have a match as well.

Londoners love watching musicals and they have it everywhere in London. Therefore, we watched 'The Lion King' together with her bf n friends. And it cost me 37 pounds for it. -___-

Leicester Square is a place worth visiting too!!

We went to Bayswater for the famous duckie and every dish in this pic taste jus so heavenly. Of cos, the price tag is high as well!! 50 over pounds for this 5 dishes plus rice and chinese tea.

I wanted to club so we went in search for a happening club on a Tues nite and luckily we found this!! Very happening place indeed. Nice~

We rested our feet at Haagen Daz for some sinful ice cream tat cost 6 pounds each. SGD 18 for ice cream!?!??! *pengzz*

We took a london cab back home after clubbing cos its late at nite and the tubes have ended service. Of cos, this is the most expensive taxi ride i've ever taken in my life!! cost 16 over pounds which is more than SGD 50!! Freaky expensive!!

Nonetheless, the famous Tower Bridge which is jus so nice n pretty.

This pretty much sums up my London trip with Janet meimei. A pity i fell sick during my last nite there cos the weather is jus too cold and i din bring enough thick clothing there. And going in n out of the shops/tubes which are hot jus simply makes me fall sick.

Not much of exciting stations till next mth when im going Dubai-Istanbul. Will definitely visit the desert when I'm there!!

Have got a Shanghai flt next mth end. Luckily my batchgirl is one flt before me so will have a local to bring me around!! Yeah~

Nov roster coming out in early Oct. Hope i get Tokyo-LA or HKG-SFO and perhaps Cairo or Cape Town. Last but not least, a Sydney or Melbourne flt all bcos of the bitch who came back from Dubai n going Australia next. hahaha
