Decided to come online and talked to my batchgal only to find out something bad had happen to her recently.
She went to Paris for holiday with another of my batchgal. It was a fun trip. Did lotsa shopping for LV, Gucci, Chanel cos its Parisssss!!
But little known to them, probably their many shopping bags daily caught someone's attention.
And this someone is a theif!
On their last nite, while happily returning back to their hotel, they found all the LV, Gucci bags they bought were gone.
Yes, GONE!
The boxes are still there but the bags n wallets were gone.
The room werent broken into cos its still intact. Thus, its pretty obvious its an insider's job. Yes, someone from the hotel mus have let this theif in or given him the access card to their room.
A police report was lodged and the hotel staff say they will investigate but whats the point? They will only say what they are supposed to say cos now the gals are back in SG, they can simply ignore the whole matter n let it to rest silently.
Its really sad to hear such things happening but it has become a reality.
Best of all, the LV bag + wallet and Gucci bag she lost were meant to help frens to buy. It's not even for herself but now she suffered a lost!
N my other batchgal had a even bigger lost. She bought the Chanel 2.55 medium calf leather bag which is like approx 1.8k EUROS lor!
It was a painful lesson learnt but right now, I am so gonna make sure that I lock every single valuable item up before I leave my room!
Pls, my dear frens reading this, whereever u go to, no where is safe. Take charge of ur own belongings. Alot of ppl think Europe is safe but its not true. Laptops being stolen is a common thing to hear.
Lets jus hear abt it n not it happen to ourselves.
