I know this blog comes awfully late but despite waiting damn long to upload tat 100th pic i tink but i really need to share my experience in Paris....!
Its my first time to Paris and I am really excited about it as I have been dying n pinning high hopes to catch a glimpse of the long talked abt Effiel Tower.
As Paris changes to A380 aircraft in June and I am not from that ward thus I may never get the chance to c the Effiel Tower at all.
Thus, I am glad n indeed very lucky to have a gal offering me her Paris flt pretty last minute for my Tokyo-LA! Very grateful in fact.

Here's the bed i sleep on for 2 nites which i seriously hate. its old n the comforter is not comfortable at all. =(

I find the bathroom a total crap. its not connected with the toilet bowl n i seriously tinks its damn dumb!

The toilet bowl is in a separate cubicle without the basin! n after u do ur business each time, u walk over the bathroom to wash ur hands, isnt it dumb? i seriously find it irritating!

Anyway, lunch was at the Leon's with another 3 crew. Its a mussels crew joint.

The menu is all about mussels mainly. Comes with free flow of french fries! but i doubt which fella will be tat hungry to go on n on with french fries?

Its a serious pot of mussels only but small ones.

We ordered 3 pots of mussels to share among the 4 of us which is jus nice. Abit salty though. Unlikely I will go there again. hahaa

Tats me n my lunch to start my day but weather is not good. Was drizzling when we check in all the way till we finished lunch.
=(
But, I did not let the bad weather dampen my moods n I told myself no way m i going to stay in the room n just waste my time away in Paris!
So, I went back to my room, make myself better equipped by bringing my hat along (something which i always bring along n wear for rainy weather) n my umbrella.
Got a map from the conceirge and asked for directions to Arc De Triomphe, Lourve and of cos, Effiel Tower!

I beam with delight when I saw my first destination with delight! it was a sense of satisfaction for me to have found it by walking!

From Arc De Triomphe, I continue walking n i realise its the Elysee Shopping Stretch which brother Clarence told me about.

Souvenier shops like this are everywhere in Europe.

From here, I make my way to my next destination, Lourve.

And along the way is the big big LV boutique.

I only bought a small card holder for myself but i dun need tat actually but jus need to spend money cos its LV in Paris, the cheapest of all countries!!!

Keep walking! =)

This is also some attraction in Paris which I forgot wad isit. Haha...
I asked a indian guy to help me take this pic but after taking this pic, he carried on asking me where I am from etc. I pretend i din understand wad he is talking about to avoid him following me n he guess i m from Japan.
So i jus nod nod n walk away n he followed me quite awhile trying a few japanese words like 'Kawaii'.
Oh my,... it certainly freaks me out!

The best part about travelling on feet is u get to c places around u n i was surprised as I turn my head looking at the place around n caught my first glimpse of Effiel Tower!

Finally I c Lourve Museum aka the da vinci code.

Tadah! This is the infamous pyramid tat I wana take picture with! This museum opens until 6pm daily n closed on tues and I only touch down in Paris on Mon n reach the place at 5.30pm! So, i missed the chance of getting in. =(

Europe countries are sometimes so chill. rest n relax.

I was hungry so pop by the stall for some pancake which sounds good.

Chose the ham n cheese. Still looking good yea?

But, it doesnt taste good. =( And a freaky 4 euro for this. damnz!

Umbrella in effiel tower alike!

Little effiel towers!!

There were plenty of black men selling mini effiel towers n key chains.

All of them run off while the police came patrol!! Interesting sight to see all the blacks holding their mini effiel towers walking at their fastest speed to escape from the police!

The 2 policemen who cycled around.

I saw the effiel tower in the day...

Waited till the sun setting n the effiel tower lights up!

Until the skies turns dark, the Effiel Tower 'sparkles' on for a few minutes. Beautiful sight!!

By the time I waited till the night view of the Effiel Tower, I was totally damn tired. Sunsets onli at 9pm. Jus imagine how long I waited!! With onli barely 2 hrs slp after a 12 hrs flt.
Gosh...!
But, it was indeed a worthwhile trip.
=)
