Yupz, I simply shop and shop all the way!! Din do any sight seeing in SFO at all thou I've planned to go to the Fisherman's Wharf with another indian stewardess who was on my previous flt.
Got my therapy of Abercombie, Hollister, Levis and not forgetting COACH!! =)
Lucky me was on flt with a very nice captain who rented a car to go to the factory outlet, Haye's Valley which houses the factory outlet of Levis, Calvin Klein, Coach, DKNY, Dockers, etc (but no A & F, Hollister, American Eagle as these brands will be another half an hr drive to Fairway Mall.)
From there, I gotten myself 2 pairs of Levis jeans tat cost me only USD 50 as they will having a promotion of getting the second pair at 50% off. Therefore, how can I miss out on the 2nd pair?? ;)
My shopping buys from the factory outlets are as follows:
1) 2 pairs of Levis @ USD 50
2) 2 Liz Clairborne wallets @ USD 15 (Buy 1 get 1 free - for my mum & godma)
3) 1 Liz Clairborne bag @ USD 20 ( for my mum)
4) 2 DKNY tees @ USD 20 each
5) 1 Coach small sling bag @ USD 90
6) 1 Coach Hobo sling bag @ USD 135
And the next day, my shopping continued to the Westfield Shopping Centre which is jus opposite the hotel I stayed in. (Which is why I dislike staying in shopping areas, jus make me shop n spend monies.)
There goes,
1) 2 Abercombie tees, 1 @ USD 19.90 and 1 @ USD 24.90
1) 2 Abercombie tees, 1 @ USD 19.90 and 1 @ USD 24.90
2) 1 Hollister tee @ USD 24.90
3) 1 Coach sling bag (smaller version of Mrs Lee's big one) @ USD 348
4) 1 pair of Forever 21 covered toes shoes @ USD 16
5) 1 green Forever 21 dress @ USD 10
My collection of new tees from SFO!! =)
My new very pretty green dress tat jus fits me so perfectly from F21. =)
Wanted to get the Bebe tee which cost USD 35 and one of the big bags which cost USD 128 but din get it cos I've already burst my allowance for this flt on shopping. Nevertheless, will check out the Bebe shops here to see if its really much more cheaper to get it in States. If it is, i'll get it on my next States flt!! =)
Back in HK, I met up with Mike. The first day, he brought me to another side of HK which people dun normally go to when they tour but unfortunately, he had a dinner party in Shen Zhen at night which he wanted to bring me along but I cant go as I'll need the GD from the captain. Therefore, he drop me off at Mongkok and I embarked on my solo shopping spree!!
Used up 2/3 of my HKD within 2 hours and I'm armed with bags n bags of clothes and shoes!!
Sad to say, I din go partying on my first night there thou its a friday cos the crew din wana go and Mike was away in Shen Zhen.
Therefore, i started packing my shopping buys.
Gotten my favourite leggings cos its definitely much cheaper to buy in HK rather than SG. Gotten a pair of black with lace and a denim material. The ones in packet are tights, 1 is 3/4 the other is long.
Gotten quite a few tops and this cardigan is one of my many new buys. Cost only HKD 35 which is about SGD 7. Most of the shops are selling winter wear now thus there isnt really many things which i can buy but lucky me oso else I will jus end up shopping more!!
Anyway, I'm so satisfied with my shopping buys. Its time to start packing my wardrobe and discard the old ones to make space for new ones!! Heezz ;)
For my second day in HKG, it was spent with Mike. He came to pick me at noon and we went to so many places!! Too many pics to upload therefore, i shall do it another time!!
Although this HKG-SFO flight is always pretty tough and challenging to do but every crew will still like it cos its a favourite station. A few of the other stewardess spend much more than me actually (if I din get my Coach) so, I'm not the most horrible one k. hehezz =p
For the first time of all my flights, I really felt I was like on a holiday rather than on duty. HK jus seems like my second home though its only my fourth time there but I'm so much more familiar with this country rather than the other of my senior crews.
1 crew even asked me if I need her to bring me around!!! -_-'''
But, I guess probably is bcos Mike was there which makes the reason why I felt i was more on holiday than on duty.
More pics of my stay will be up soon. I've got plenty of things to do on my 3 off days and half of today is already gone! Omg~!
