I doze off while driving along right lane with my fren, Ivan who was already sound asleep beside me. I kept dozing off every 2 seconds now and then but did not expect the last doze off to be such a long one.
Its quite weird tat i got a sudden push of me to turn my steering wheel towards left tat prevented me from crashing further. It was the loud bump tat woke both Ivan and i up. I still din know tat my car is so badly crashed till i started driving with weird bumps n sounds before i pull to a stop into a small street at JE.
Ivan got down before me to check on my car. I was still in a state of shockness when i couldnt open my door. I gotta climb out from the pax seat!!
The moment i saw my car, i cried right there, on the spot. My head light was crashed, wheel has got a big hole, driver's door is smashed. Pax door is oso smashed.
To make things worse, it started to rain. Heavily.
We got back into the car to seek shelter from the rain onli to find raindrops dripping into my car on the pax seat!! Apparently, there's a 'hole' which results in the leaking of water into my car!! Can you imagine how bad the situation is?
And to make things even worse, my phone had already died on me long ago while i was out earlier in the nite.
I called frens for help but no1 ans which i can understand y cos its like 6am in the morning. Luckily Ivan was with me. If not, i wld have been stranded there, not knowing wad to do at all.
He called his dad for help and we called for a tow truck. I've been having a bad omen recently when i keep seeing accidents n cars being towed. Never did i expect my own jazzy baby to be towed too. I jus couldn carry on driving anymore. My wheel is so badly damaged due to the big hole tat resulted it being flat n im literally driving on my rims!!
We sent the car down to this workshop in Sin Ming who says tat i cann claim insurance n it may nt be worth for me to do so cos of my young age n premiums will be much higher in future.
But, to repair my car, i was quote $1700 for it which i dunno is it worth at all cos im jus afraid tat they might jus 'tok' me out of it. I contemplated in a state of confused and unclear mind after not getting a wink after a long day.
I decided to come home first and seek more opinions.
But, its so coincidence tat Ben just went China ytd to meet his customer. Else, things would have been much easier with him as an expert in cars.
Right now, i still do not know if i shld wait till he comes back on Tues or jus go ahead and let tat workshop repair it at a cost of $1700.
My heart really bleeeds tis time. Even though i din die miraculously.
